Install the USB-serial driver (Prolific PL-2303) Windows users: From the GH-601 CD or google it Linux users: modules usbserial and pl2303 2. Install Python (2.6 is known to work) 3. Install pySerial 4. Windows users must install pyWin32 5. Done! How to use: 1. On the GPS, go to CONFIGURATION, and then choose UPLOAD TO PC 2. Connect the USB cable to the GPS and the computer 3. Run python runnerup.py where is your com port, (Usually /dev/ttyUSB0 on Linux) 4. GPS should say "Waypoint/Training Data Send O.K." 5.
